Andrew Ordonez (American, b. 1991) is a visual artist, administrator, and researcher based in Brooklyn, New York. His multidisciplinary practice—spanning found media, installation, and sculpture—draws on hauntology to explore the psychic terrain between erasure and preservation. Through a process of spectral surfacing, he engages materials as containers of latency, with memory emerging as a residue of degradation, entombment, and queer ecologies. Ordonez received his MFA from the Yale School of Art in 2024 and his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2013.
